Mohinder Singh, a first
generation immigrant, is a self-made successful business
personality in Canada. He made his humble beginning with a
small carpet store in 1977 in Canada and today he is CEO and
President of Eglinton Carpets Inc. which is a chain of stores
that provides solutions for quality-flooring across Greater
Toronto Area in Canada. His business interests include real
estate and investments in USA. He is associated with Swami
Ramdev's Pitanjali mission in India and is the sole
distributor of Divya Divine Supplements in Canada . |
Mohinder Singh was instrumental in organizing the very first Yog
camp in Canada. He invited the Yog-guru Swami Ramdev to Canada and
brought the herbal supplements, which are based on Ayurved – the
ancient medical science of India, for the wellbeing of people
living in North America. The Yog camp provided once-in-life time
opportunity to many people living in North America to learn Yog
directly form the guru whose Yog teaching had transformed the life
and health of millions of people worldwide.
Mohinder Singh has the honor of being the only person from Indo
Canadian community who received the invitation from the President
of USA Mr. Barak Obama for attending the first state dinner at the
White House. The first state dinner was hosted in the honor of the
visiting Prime Minister of India Dr. Man Mohan Singh.
He hails from Punjab (India), and is engaged in philanthropic
activities. He is associated with many Indo–Canadian Charitable
foundations and involved in raising funds for various social
activities for noble humanitarian causes, and serving the humanity
with selfless services. He sponsored sports and cultural
activities for his community in Canada. He organized many social
events and provided a platform for business and social networking
to the Indo-Canadian community so as to promote products and
services between the two countries.
